Oliver L. Herthneck focuses his practice on commercial litigation, and sports law matters. Prior to joining Ciano & Goldwasser, Oliver worked for a national business law firm representing the nation’s industry leaders in transportation, retail, financial services, and the global shipping & logistics industries.  Oliver has extensive first chair trial and appellate experience.

Oliver previously served as general counsel for a national production and distribution company where he advised on a variety of operations including mitigating unwanted litigation, firm formulation into various markets, and the negotiation of licensing agreements with retailers, which directly impacted the company’s financial growth.

In 2022 and again in 2023, Oliver was selected for inclusion in the Ohio Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars, an award designed to identify the top 2.5% of young lawyers in the State.

Outside of work, Oliver enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and snowboarding.
